BeGrand.net is a new website that gives grandparents the information and help they need to support families and children. It's funded by the Department for Education, recognising the crucial role grandparents can play in a child's life, from providing childcare, to being a consistent loving presence. It supports grandparents and helps them support each other.

The service provides:

Information and support about everything to do with grandparenting.
Confidential online advisors trained to deal with legal and social problems.
A place for grandparents to talk to each other about the issues that matter
Our site is accessible 24 hours a day and grandparents can be as anonymous or vocal as they like! All information is free.
BeGrand.net wants to help as many grandparents as possible by working closely with children's centres. We're interested in exploring how we can make the site work for you and ensure we're helping you in your work with children. We have a range of free leaflets for grandparents, just contact us.
